Coach LaDay brings over 25 years of experience working with kids aged 8 to 18. His coaching journey includes guiding Junior Olympic Teams, as well as coaching at the High School and Middle School levels. Presently, he is a dedicated full-time teacher and coach, specializing in sprints, hurdles, and relays at Fremont Middle School in Fremont, NE. Coach LaDay holds several USATFCCCA Technical Certification, including USATF Level 1 Certified Coach, USATF Certified Official, and USR Level 1 Certification. 

He brings a wealth of personal experience to his coaching, having competed in the 100M, 200M, 400M relay, and 1600M relay. Coach LaDay's athletic journey began at Stratford High School in Houston, TX, where he excelled in both football and track and field. His talents earned him an offer to play football and run track at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN. Throughout his collegiate career, Coach LaDay qualified for nationals in the 100M & 200M for three consecutive years, earning him All-Conference and All-American Honorable Mention Honors. Even after college, Coach LaDay continued to compete, participating in the USATF Masters in the 100M and 200M events until his late 40s.
